That Accursed Edge of the Earth

The edge of the Earth must be very close to my house, or something, because I keep falling off. Maybe there's some kind of fluctuation so that it's constantly moving and hard to track. Whatever the case, I have found my way back, again.

Some things of interest in the worlds of spec lit and science have occurred, and I'll recap as many as I can in individual posts or digest-type posts.
